Guacamole dips are super easy to make. It does not involve any cooking and comes together in just 10 minutes. It is also super healthy even for those who are on a weight loss journey. Now, for those who are not introduced to Guacamole, it is a Mexican dip made with avocado, onion, tomato, Jalapeño Pepper, lime juice, cilantro/ coriander leaves, salt and pepper powder.
Now, what makes it healthy is that it contains Avocado. Avocados is packed with nutrients and high on fiber. It delivers a variety of health benefits especially it is packed with mono saturated fat. You can call it a fatty fruit. Guacamole dip with tortilla chips are popular party food, we sometimes have it as a snack at home. It can be enjoyed with crackers or with various toppings like cooked legumes like beans, grilled meat like chicken, bacon, diary product like Greek yogurt, feta cheese, nuts like walnut, pistachios, fruits like orange, pineapple, mango etc. I have it with homemade baked tortilla or on toasts. Homemade Best Classic Guacamole Dip Recipe

Section 1: List of Ingredients
2 Ripe Avocados
¼ cup Ripe Tomatoes (deseeded and chopped)
¼ cup Red Onion (finely chopped)
1 tsp Jalapeño Pepper (finely chopped. You can use Serrano or habanero pepper also. In the video I used Serrano verity ( if you want less spicy we can deseed it. I use deseeded Serrano )
3 tbsp Cilantro or coriander leaves (finely chopped)
3-4 tsp Lime Juice
¼ - ½ tsp Salt
¼ tsp pepper (optional)
Section 2: Directions
First of all, cut the avocados in half lengthwise or breadthwise and pit it, that is, remove the stone.
Slice the avocado into chunks in the skin itself. And using a spoon, scoop out the flesh into a bowl.
Using a fork, mash the avocado to your desired consistency. You can leave few chunks or you can make it creamy and smooth consistency.
Add finely chopped onion, tomato, chilly to the bowl.
Then add lime juice and a pinch of salt and pepper(optional).
Stir together until well combined. Taste and adjust salt and lime according to taste.
Section 3: Storing directions
Guacamole turns brown on exposure to air as a result of oxidation. Now, brown avocados are not bad but it is not appealing to look at and might taste bitter or mushy. So, it is best to make this recipe immediately before eating. The best way to keep guacamole from turning brown is to pour thin layer of olive oil or cover with a cling film so there is no contact with air on the top layer.
Section 4: Serving directions
The classic combination of Guacamole may be tortilla chips but it is also a good accompaniment with many kinds of Mexican foods. It can be included in breakfast by using to make sandwiches, on toasts. It can be added in salads also. And it pairs well with grilled meats.
