Healthy Air Fryer Sweet Potato Wedges in 15 minutes.

Even if you are a sweet potato lover or not, you will absolutely love this sweet potato wedges. It is not only tasty but it is super healthy as it is made in an air fryer using very less oil. Sweet potatoes are a great source of fiber, vitamins, and minerals. It promotes gut health and it has various other health benefits too. And it's super easy to roast sweet potatoes in air fyer. It can be enjoyed as a side dish or a snack.


This is one of the first recipe I tried after buying air fryer. It was a hit at our home. I make this often, as you can whip up these in just 15 minutes. And I am sure anyone who try it once will make this over and over again. You need only very few ingredients to make it. So let's get started with the recipe.


Best Air Fryer Sweet Potato Wedges Recipe

Sweet potato

Section 1: Ingredients required

  • 1 big sweet potato or two small sweet potatoes

  • ½-3/4 tbsp oilive oil

  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

  • ½ tsp cayenne pepper/kashmiri chilly powder

  • ½ tsp pepper powder and

  • ¼-1/2 tsp salt

Section 4: Directions

  1. Prepare the sweet potatoes by scrubbing and rinsing it well.

  2. Pat dry with a tissue or let the water dry by itself completely.

  3. Preheat the air fryer to 180 degree centigrade for 5 minutes.

  4. Meanwhile, chop off both the ends and slice into half. If you want you can peel the skin or leave it as it is. And slice each half into 1 mm thickness slice, which further is to be sliced similar-sized wedges.( Try to cut them into the same sizes so that they cook evenly)

  5. In a medium sized bowl add all the wedges, drizzle with oil and then add seasoning. Toss it with the hands ensuring they are all coated well with oil and seasoning.

  6. Spread the wedges in the air fryer basket far apart, to avoid steaming effect. And set the timer for 15 minutes.

  7. Check on them at the halfway mark and shake them before continue with the cooking.

  8. After 15 minutes, they should be crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside. If they are not, return them to the air fryer and continue cooking, checking on them after 2 minutes.

  9. Serve the sweet potato wedges as a side dish or snack with any dip of your choice.
