Made with just four simple ingredients. I have already shared a recipe video of Mango Nice Cream on Youtube. In this I used Kerala banana known as Nendra Pazham. The recipe is the same - frozen bananas, frozen mango, coconut powder, and water. This vegan and gluten-free dessert is not only tasty but also good for you. And the best part? It's super easy to make! All you need is a blender, a few minutes of your time, and you'll have a bowl of creamy and refreshing mango nice cream that is perfect for a hot summer day.

So whether you're a mango lover like our family or just looking for a new way to enjoy frozen treats, this recipe is sure to become a new favorite. Making Mango Nice Cream is incredibly easy and only requires a few simple steps.


For Making Ice Cream

  • 2 frozen bananas coins (Robust or Kerala Banana/Nendran pazham. In this recipe I have used Nendra Pazham. It gives bright yellow colour

  • 1 cup frozen mango chunks

  • 2 tbsp coconut powder

  • 1/2 cup water

For Garnish

  • Digestive Biscuit

  • Chocolate syrup(shop-bought or home made)

  • Tutti-Frutti

High speed Blender/Food Processor

Section 5: Add Numbered Directions

  1. Begin by Peel and slice two bananas(robust or Kerala banana(Nedra Pazham) into coins and freeze them for at least 2-3 hours or until frozen solid.

  2. Peel and cut mango in to chuks and freeze it (approximately 1 cup frozen mango chunks)

  3. Once the bananas and mangos are frozen, add the frozen bananas, frozen mango chunks, coconut powder, and water into a blender.

  4. Blend the mixture until it is smooth and creamy. You may need to stop the blender and scrape down the sides a few times to ensure that everything is fully blended.

  5. Once the mixture is smooth, transfer it to a freezer-safe container/molds and freeze it for at least 2-3 hours or until firm.

  6. Once the Mango Nice Cream is frozen, remove it from the freezer and let it sit at room temperature for a few minutes to soften.

  7. And your Mango Nicecream is ready to be enjoyed.
